As college looms ever nearer, I find myself constantly in town trying to pick up new clothes, some makeup here and there, but not once was I more drawn to buy a book like today.
I have not had any time to read for fun since exam season started, which was something that took a while to get used to, as I used to read a new book weekly!
I left WH Smith very satisfied with myself for managing to promise myself to get back into reading. I had tried this with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but that did not work one bit.
The two books I picked up were Will Grayson, Will Grayson and Divergent.
Will Grayson, Will Grayson
John Green is one of my favourite authors. The first book I read was The Fault in Our Stars, all the way late last year. After being flooded by many emotions, I delved even deeper into the world of John Green, picking up Looking for Alaska, receiving Paper Towns for my birthday, then reading An Abundance of Katherines earlier this year.
Now that the hype over The Fault in Our Stars has ebbed a little bit, I decided to read another John Green book.
Will Grayson, Will Grayson is not a book I wanted to read initially, but the reviews I have read make me believe otherwise. This is a book I will thoroughly enjoy getting through, I'm sure!
I watched Divergent a few weeks ago, and was really enthralled by it.
As it was always referred to as "Another Hunger Games", I decided I wouldn't read it, because what's the point of re-reading another franchise?
The movie, however was not entirely like The Hunger Games, but the main difference I can find is that there is no epic fight to the death.
I will enjoy reading this however, because the movie was exceptionally good.
While in WH Smith, I also picked up some new bookmarks, which work as easy as one, two three!
The tough question now is which book I'll read first!
Thanks, and I'll see you in the next one!
